Photographer Gilles Mingasson was featured in the New York Times along with other artists. The New York Times link. Gilles personal website collection includes The End of Shishmaref. The house shown in his collection is the house that Joe and I live in.

Our sincerest thanks to Mr. Schatzinger’s Class who generously donated funds they earned on behalf of the SOS Relocation Program. While we were interviewing for Alaska news organizations, below you’ll see Mr. Schatzinger’s class made the papers as well in Germany.

SOS and 6th graders meet with Congressman Don Young and were given the opportunity to share the SOS blog site and ask questions. Congressman Young assured us that we would not have to move to Kotzebue and Nome.

Students in Germany had a Shishmaref exhibition. They have been making cereal bars and selling them to their local community. Thank you for making our dreams of relocating happen.

today we sold our first Shishmaref cereal bars and we also made some bars for Thursday. Next week will be our exhibition about Shishmaref. I also attached a photo to this mail showing our bar production.
