Shishmaref School will have early release at 1:30 pm each day Wednesday through Friday, April 12 - 14 for our Shishmaref Middle School Basketball Tournament.
Due to the storm increasing and lack of visibility we will be cancelling tonight. If your child is at the gym please come and pick them up from the school.
Good Morning Shishmaref families-
This Saturday, March 25th will be a make up day for inclement weather from March 4th. Saturday will be parent/teacher conferences day. Students will need to attend with their parent/s. Attendance will be taken and counted. On the way out please pick up a sack lunch at the front of the school for your student/s breakfast and lunch. See you all on Saturday!
Don't forget to set clocks ahead one hour this weekend.

Due to inclement weather, Saturday school is canceled today, March 4, 2023. All After school activities are canceled as well. The makeup day will be Saturday, March 25. Again for today, March 4, Saturday, School has been canceled.
Shishmaref School
Reminder: Shishmaref School will hold classes, Saturday, March 4, 2023, from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm to make up for the weather closure this week.
We look forward to seeing students at school as they begin to follow the Iditarod and their favorite Musher for the ceremonial start on Saturday.
Youth Employment Services provide opportunities for part-time summer employment to youth between the ages of 14-24, during the months of June, July & August. Work sites are voluntary and last 4 weeks. Typically, hired youth work 24 hours per week, and pay is $12 per hour.
Youth Employment Services are designed to provide valuable employment skills and experience while earning a wage.

Alaska Business Development Center is providing FREE TAX ASSISTANCE through the volunteer tax and loan program. We are located at the School please use the back entrance by the MPR today. We are offering services from 11 am to 10 pm and tomorrow from 9 am to 12 pm.
